REVIEW: REAL TECHNIQUES SILICONE LINER BRUSH

I love a lot of my Real Technique brushes- they work well and they don't break the bank, but this one really let me down.

As a gel liner junkie I use these brushes every single day, and I am constantly on the look out for an easier alternative (lazy) and one that provide the optimum cat flick/wing. So I picked this one up and I was really excited to use it because I thought it would be easier to use, faster to clean etc etc.. Ultimately, I'm not that impressed- I would rather stay with their original more supple liner brush or a angled brush (depending on what eyeliner I am going for on the day). I just found that with my gel eyeliner (I use the Seventeen 'Smoulder Gel') it doesn't pick up as much product as I would like and when applying it isn't a dense line that I want. It is a shame, but with it being so cheap (£6.99 I believe) it hasn't hurt my purse but rather my faith in Real Technique Brushes (except the Buffing and Contour brush, they will forever have a place in my heart)

Do any of you liner fans know of good pens/brushes/pots which are good?
