I’m forever making note of things I would like during the
month to maybe receive as a cute little gift to myself in the next. It’s
unlikely that I will achieve even a third of the things on this list, but you
never know.. a girl can dream (and Valentines day is coming up!)
1. First off, the Motel Savannah Dress in black! It is so understated
and I’ve always loved a cold shoulder. I saw a similar sort of thing in Urban
Outfitters recently, but it was more of an awkward tunic than a dress which made
me go on the search for this beaut. I’d love to wear it with some heavy looking
boots and minimal silver jewellery!
2. Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow is my second must have
for this month- I am determined add it to my not-so-necessary makeup
collection. I’ve seen a lot of pale people use it as a subtle contour rather
than having a bronzer, which would be excellent for me- especially if you’re
like me and bronzer does look muddy a lot of the time. But (deep sigh) I can’t seem to find it
anywhere- apparently their makeup counter has vanished from Newcastle.. Maybe I
was the only one who wasn’t aware as I’m not a regular for Illamasqua!
3. Now this is my ‘If I win the lottery I would buy..’ which
clearly, is never going to happen. The Marc Jacobs Baker Watch, one word-
stunning. I spotted it in a local department store and it was instant love. Nevermind,
these are beautiful items but I will just have to find look-a-likes or pray for
a surprise sale!
4. February is going to be the month I get my summer holiday
booked. My boyfriend and I are planning a trip around Italy for 2 weeks in the
summer which I am so excited to be doing!
5. Recently I got my hair cut to about shoulder length with a
blunt cut which I absolutely love and I feel
as though my hair needed something very different (click onto my
Instagram here if you want to see more!) Since doing this, I’ve been more
experimental with it, but I’m particularly loving a chunky hair look hence
this; the BB Thickening Full Foam Mousse!
6. Introducing the massive cult classic- Hourglass Lipstain in Riveria just looks beautiful and everyone has fantastic things to say about it!
I’ve tested it on my hand- it stayed forever and was a gorgeous colour. The
only thing that worries me is the dryness of it after being a long time sufferer of chapped lips! But,
who cares. I’m going to get it anyway. (YOLO)
7. Recently I’ve been desperate for a white handbag, they look
so clean and I’m such a monochrome lover! I spotted the Matt & Nat Dwell White Hobo Bag in the ASOS sale which I think is a lovely bag!
8. Is it just me or has ROX Jewellers come out of nowhere with
a big boom? I absolutely love the brand! The stores are great, the collections
are great and in particular I currently love ROX Bamboo Collection. This ring
is only £40 which I don’t consider such a bad price for such a lovely silver
ring! If you haven't heard of it, it is definitely worth a look!
9. And finally, the Naked 3 palette. I know I’m
slow on the band waggon, but when I first went to see it I wasn’t that
bothered. The pinky colours weren’t something I was interested in. I was initially
thinking ‘This is going to be an awkward 90’s flashback’ and ‘But I might look
like I have pink eye’ so I just gave it a miss. But then a friend of mine was
wearing it and it looked so pretty! So now, I think I will aspire to get it..
