I've always loved Benefits highlighter, I think it's great for light skin tones and subtly beautiful, so when on the search for a cheaper alternative I found Seventeen's 3 way highlighter!
I'm sure there is a lot of people thinking 'But Seventeen surely won't be as good as Benefit?' and they would be right. I don't often go to Seventeen for all my makeup needs, but they often have fantastic little gems like this highlighter, and in comparison it's just as good if not better than High Beam.
When you consider how much you get for your money and how much it actually costs (Seventeen is a 1/4 of the price) the Three Way Hightlighter comes out on top. In terms of the product as well, I would say without a doubt it is better too. I would say that High Beam is more pink, whereas the 3 Way is more of a pearly tone so for my pale complexion it just looks nicer. I also find that the Three Way is just easier to blend into my makeup as I often feel High Beam just lies on the top of my skin not looking as natural as I would hope!
As for using them both three ways, I think ultimately give the same sort of affect but Seventeen again just looks better on the skin. Honesty if this product was at the price of High Beam I would still buy it!
I would definitely say if you are new to highlighter, buy Seventeens take on High Beam, without a doubt you will love it!
